WRAPTORS
Polarized Sunglasses for the serious fisherman |
Wraptors keep out
all of the sun's rays yet still allow for peripheral vision. They block out
100% of UVA
and UVB rays that can damage
your eyes. They come in Grey and Bronze lenses but I've found that the
bronze
provides better contrast for
site fishing. For more info go to
www.eltonoptics.com or call 1-800-636-9270.
The pair I bought was under
$50. and are very light. comfortable and look great!

Strike King 3X Soft Plastic Baits
New Plastics made of Cyber Flexx |
New
Strike King 3X Plastics stretch an incredible 4 feet and will float a 3/0
hook easily. I find these new
plastics impart
incredible action to a Texas rig because when you stop moving it along the
bottom, the tail rises
enticing the bass to
bite. The real plus for these baits is in using a Carolina rig. Here the
bait floats up off the
bottom right in the
strike zone. I've tried the ribbon tail worm, the lizard and the baitfish
imitation called the Zulu
The Zulu works great as a
topwater bait. I've had many strikes just throwing the bait near some cover
and
letting it stay still for
a few moments. Then , twitch it slowly back to the boat. It looks like a
real injured
minnow. You can get

Culprit Tassel Tail
New Worm and Lizard |
The new Tassel
tail worm and Lizard by Culprit really add life-like action to plastic
baits. The thin Streamers
that flow and move with
the slightest current or rod tip action seem to make these baits come alive.
They
come in many of the great
Culprit colors and I have had great success with Junebug and red shad. I use
these
Baits when the the bass
are not very active. the extra motion in the Tassels seem to draw strikes
when they
wont hit a regular worm.
Give them a try. More info at
